Second installment does not disappoint! Such a unique idea. Can't wait for book 3!

Good storyline, but this book needs serious editing, especially for the price. Could have 5 stars with a good proofreader.
I'm so hooked on this series! I love (& hate) the characters at any given time. Poor Sam and Greg are in a constant whirlwind of fear and tragedy. Brooke is just trying to keep up. Everyone else is clueless...and Danata is just plain evil!
I need more! More! MORE!
I Love this series. I seldom read the second book in a trilogy because I get so disappointed where the author me ..... not this time. Book 2 in the Morphid Chronicles delivers. I so connect with all the characters even the ones I don't like. The story line hooks me, it's fast paced and transports me to another dimension. Not so patiently waiting for the 3rd book.
Man, I love this universe!!! What a great concept! Morphids, just like humans, seem to guided by fate into the directions most beneficial for the "greater good", yet some (and only some) struggle to control their own fate. It is a very interesting concept to ponder, especially when you see the story unfold...how one person's choice to not follow the path set before them impacts the set path of others. And why in the world would some have what appears to be an evil purpose???
Of course, you don't have to think of the plot at the level if you are just looking for a fun, interesting ready. The book has layers, folks. Like the circus...something here for everyone! o) Great read!!!
Ripper was a fantastic continuation of The Morphid Chronicles! This YA series is really draws you in and I love that the author created a new paranormal species, Morphids, that hasn't been done before.
In Ripper, Sam learns more about her powers while she and Greg are on the run from Veridian and Danata. I love how their relationship grows! I also love the spark between Brooke and Perry! The reader gets to see more of Perry's personality that I really enjoyed. Ashby is still a jerk but I have a feeling we would see a different side of him if he stopped being solely focused on finding Sam and their fated connection. I really hope to see a different side of him in the coming book. Maybe he won't be so much of an ass and we can actually like him. lol While still the bad guy, we learn a little bit about Veridian's history and perspective. I expect we will learn more about in the future which I look forward to.
Full of twists, surprises and getting to know some of the background/history of the characters made Ripper an very engaging read that I definitely recommend!
